Business training and financial assistance program to support businesses that respond to social challenges.
Menter Môn’s Llwyddo’n Lleol 2050 scheme is offering a unique opportunity for local young people to receive training and financial support to develop their own business idea. Training will take place over a ten-week period, offering a chance to learn from experts, create valuable contacts and move their business ideas forward.
To take part in the scheme the business idea must respond to a community issue or challenge. A community could be a geographical area or a group of people. This is a great opportunity to bring about community improvement whilst also being part of a project that supports young people to succeed in their local area.
Applications are now open. To apply you will need to be between 18-30 years of age and need to be living in or be originally from Gwynedd or Anglesey.
This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. It’s also part funded by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and Gwynedd Council.
