An incredible evening was had celebrating the successes of businesses and community groups from Anglesey and Gwynedd at the Menter Môn Awards Night. These awards were open to individuals/businesses that have taken part in Menter Môn’s SPF and NDA projects, namely Hwb Menter, Balchder Bro, and Grymuso Gwynedd. They were eager to celebrate your successes, from entrepreneurial spirit to the successful ventures that help make Anglesey and Gwynedd exceptional.
The winners of each category were invited to a celebration evening at Galeri on the 11th of October 2024. A great opportunity to celebrate your achievements and network with other businesses and groups.
Hwb Menter
New Business of the Year, Gwynedd
This award was for a special business that has started up in Gwynedd within the last year.

Eco Warrior
The purpose of this award was to recognize businesses with green credentials, either as ethical businesses or socially responsible ones.

Special Innovator
The purpose of this award was to recognize outstanding innovators in Gwynedd or Anglesey. This award acknowledges individuals or teams who have shown exceptional creativity and vision while developing innovative solutions.

The purpose of this award was to recognize a community group or individuals who have run a successful project in Gwynedd, a project that has made a significant difference in the area.

The purpose of this award was to celebrate the achievements of a Community Hub at the heart of its community on Anglesey, such as a village hall, school, sports club, community pub, or any similar venue that offers a haven for local activities.

The purpose of this award was to recognize an individual from Anglesey who cannot do enough for their community.

The purpose of this award was to celebrate the success of an event held on Anglesey this year.

The celebration was funded through one of Menter Môn’s programmes, Balchder Bro Môn, which has been funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with financial support also from the Nuclear Recovery Services (NRS) on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).
