As a social enterprise operating in many fields, and these fields increasing with more diversity to them, Menter Môn recognizes the need to have a wider variety of Board members, in order to reach a wider audience.
With the success of projects increasing, Menter Môn have appointed new members of staff to work on these projects. This success also calls for more Directors to contribute to the Company’s work.
Dr Wyn Morgan is the current Chair of the Board and emphasizes the need to appoint new members:
“I have been a member of the Board for 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is an honour to be able to contribute to the success of a company that works for the benefit of the community.
Looking ahead, it is important that we get new members who reflect the people and communities the company serves”.
Dafydd Gruffydd, Menter Môn’s Managing Director added:
“This demand for new members is coming at a very exciting time for the company as plans grow and more staff are employed.
The company now employs over 70 staff members with a wide range in age and gender diversity.
We need to be able to reflect this diversity within the Board with members bringing a variety of skills and experiences to the Board”.
